The Standing Commission on Stewardship and Development recently met in Chicago for its first meeting since General Convention. I was assigned to this commission by the Presiding Bishop and I am honored to be on it. This video introduces most of our members. This is a fun video compilation of each person's view of stewardship. We had a great meeting and we hope for work that will take us beyond business as usual!
Revolutionary Stewardship for me is "TGOF". Years ago I owned up to the reality that I was forgetting to be intentionally and routinely grateful to God for my gifts; especially the big gift of "life". So after some thoughtful problem-solving I transformed the acronymn TGIF "Thank God It's Friday!" into TGOF "Thank God On Friday!", and my weekly experience of that day changed in a profoundly revolutionary and grace-filled way. I now approach tasks, responsibilities and activities on that day from a "thank you" perspective rather than a "got to" perspective and I'm grateful for that revolution!

I love the TGOF idea, I'm going to put that into practice!
Love the video, Bishop Rickel, and I especially love all the beautiful faces and happy giggles of the people in it!
Your name has been bandied about on Twitter recently, look in your @BishopRickel link on Twitter to see...

I opine that to get the personal loans from banks you should present a great motivation. However, one time I have got a credit loan, because I wanted to buy a car.
